Justin Timberlake is reportedly bringing his story to the screen with an upcoming four-part docuseries set to premiere on Apple TV in December. According to Variety, the series is being described as a “tell-all” and will offer a closer look at various moments throughout Timberlake’s life and career.
Directed by Fisher Stevens, the docuseries is expected to feature appearances from some familiar names, including Janet Jackson, who will reportedly discuss the infamous 2004 Super Bowl halftime show wardrobe malfunction. One source also tells Variety that Timberlake addresses some of Britney Spears’ recent comments.
While further details about the project have not yet been revealed, the series marks another collaboration between Timberlake and Apple. He previously starred in the Apple Original film Palmer, released in 2021.
The announcement comes following a relatively quiet period for Timberlake after wrapping up his Forget Tomorrow World Tour in support of his sixth studio album, Everything I Thought It Was, released in March 2024. He has made a few notable appearances and musical contributions in recent months, including a guest appearance during Don Toliver’s concert in Miami in August and another during Jay-Z’s concert in Paris last month. He also appears on Quavo’s song “House Music,” featured on his album QRÖMELIFE, released last month. Additionally, Britney Spears’ previously unreleased song “She’ll Never Be Me,” co-written by Timberlake, was officially released last month as part of her Britney (25th Anniversary Edition) album.
More details about the upcoming docuseries, including its official title and premiere date, have yet to be announced. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks!
