*NSYNC & Justin Timberlake Earn RIAA Platinum Certification for “Better Place”

🎉 Another milestone has been reached!

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has officially awarded 1× Platinum certification to *NSYNC and Justin Timberlake for their hit single “Better Place.” The certification was issued on July 10, 2026, recognizing more than 1 million units sold and streamed in the United States.

Released in September 2023 for the TROLLS Band Together soundtrack, “Better Place” marked the long-awaited reunion of *NSYNC—Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass—on their first new song together in more than two decades. The feel-good anthem quickly resonated with longtime fans while introducing the group’s signature harmonies to a new generation of listeners.

The Platinum certification is another milestone for both *NSYNC and Justin Timberlake, underscoring the lasting appeal of one of pop music’s most iconic groups. The success of “Better Place” is a testament to the unwavering support of fans who waited more than two decades for new music from the band.

Congratulations to Justin Timberlake and *NSYNC on this well-deserved RIAA Platinum honor! 🎉
