Friends with Benefits is a 2011 American romantic comedy film directed by Will Gluck and starring Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. The film follows Dylan Harper, a Los Angeles art director who moves to New York after being recruited by headhunter Jamie Rellis for a position at GQ. As Dylan and Jamie become close friends, they decide to add a casual physical relationship to their friendship, believing they can avoid developing romantic feelings for each other. SYNOPSIS
Jamie Rellis, a New York City headhunter, recruits Los Angeles art director Dylan Harper for a position at GQ. After becoming close friends, Dylan and Jamie agree to begin a casual physical relationship, convinced they can enjoy the benefits of intimacy without developing romantic feelings. As their relationship becomes increasingly complicated, Jamie attempts to date other men while Dylan struggles to acknowledge his growing feelings for her. After a painful misunderstanding drives them apart, Dylan realizes that he may be making the same mistake his father once made by letting the love of his life slip away. Determined to win Jamie back, he makes a grand romantic gesture that finally brings them together.
