Bad Teacher is a 2011 American comedy film directed by Jake Kasdan and written by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky. The film stars Cameron Diaz as a foul-mouthed, self-centered middle school teacher whose pursuit of money and a better life leads her into a series of increasingly questionable schemes. Justin Timberlake co-stars as Scott Delacorte, a wealthy and idealistic substitute teacher who becomes the object of Elizabeth’s affection. SYNOPSIS
Elizabeth Halsey is a cynical, self-centered middle school teacher who returns to teaching after her wealthy fiancé leaves her. Determined to find another wealthy man to support the lifestyle she wants, she sets her sights on Scott Delacorte, an attractive and idealistic substitute teacher. At the same time, Elizabeth becomes determined to raise enough money for breast augmentation while competing with her enthusiastic colleague, Amy Squirrel, for Scott’s attention. As Elizabeth pursues her goals, her increasingly outrageous schemes create complications for herself, her coworkers, and her students.
