Justin Timberlake is once again joining forces with restaurateur Sam Fox to bring their celebrated Nashville hotspot, The Twelve Thirty Club, to Austin, Texas. The new location is set to open in late 2027, with construction expected to begin in early 2026.
Earlier reports first revealed plans for The Twelve Thirty Club in Austin — read my original announcement for the initial details.
The project marks a bold new chapter for the brand — one that blends Austin’s rich musical soul with the sophisticated design and elevated dining that made the Nashville location such a success.
According to a new report by FSR Magazine, the Austin outpost will make its home inside the historic three-story former U.S. Post Office building at 210 W. Sixth Street — a neoclassical landmark built between 1912 and 1914. With a $30 million buildout planned, the venue will be thoughtfully restored and reimagined into a one-of-a-kind destination spanning nearly 35,000 square feet — about 10,000 more than its Nashville flagship.
“I’ve walked past this building for years, long before we opened the Nashville Twelve Thirty Club, always imagining what it could become,” said Fox. “It’s been more than a six-year journey to get here, and this place has an incredible presence, like it’s been waiting for the right moment and the right kind of energy. We want to honor its history while creating something completely original for Austin.”
Design will once again be led by AvroKO, the New York-based studio behind the Nashville location, known for its attention to mood, movement, and atmosphere.
“After what we created in Nashville, I’m thrilled to be bringing The Twelve Thirty Club to Austin,” said Timberlake. “This city truly gets live music, and getting to restore the soul of such an iconic building while working with Sam again is incredible. We’re being intentional with how the space carries sound across every level, because how music lives in the room is just as important as the design. We’re creating a space that people will want to experience again and again.”
Much like the Nashville club, the Austin version will unfold across four distinct levels, each designed as its own immersive experience — from the vibrant, music-filled Supper Club and hidden Speakeasy to the exclusive Honorary Member lounge and private event space above. Guests can expect live performances, handcrafted cocktails, and new menu items inspired by Austin’s culinary and cultural spirit.

“At the turn of the twentieth century, a new landmark was rising at the corner of 6th and Lavaca. Austin’s seventh U.S. Post Office, right along the old Meridian Highway, a route that carried letters, secrets and stories across the American West. Soon, more than 110 years later, the soul of this building will deliver again.
What once sorted letters in the lobby will serve cocktails. What once held court in the atrium, will hold a stage. Here we will pay homage to a bygone era. Step inside and the walls will no longer whisper, they will sing
Rooted in Austin’s promise that art and culture aren’t just preserved, they’re lived. Before long, sound and taste will collide in a space as electric as it is timeless.
Welcome to the next chapter.”
